Dustin graduated in 2004 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor`s degree in history. He received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2007, where he was a merit-based scholar. In 2010, Dustin moved to Asheville, North Carolina, to work as a real estate attorney at the law firm of Wilde, PLLC. His areas of activity included advising clients on mortgage default, debt collection and foreclosure. Prior to joining DC Capital Law Firm, Dustin was a founding lawyer at Locklear Law Firm, PLLC since the firm`s inception in 2012. At Locklear Law Firm, PLLC, Dustin focused primarily on facilitating the short sale of real estate throughout North Carolina, alternative loss mitigation options for distressed properties, and foreclosure defense. In his spare time, Dustin enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and watching ACC basketball. Bob Heieck is a partner at DC Capital Law.
Bob first received his bar license in Nebraska in 2014 and added licenses in Arizona (2017) and Washington, DC (2019). He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Bob`s career guidance has covered a wide range of defense-focused areas of law, including consumer fraud, government and regulatory affairs, criminal law, and general litigation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame, a Doctor of Laws and a Master of Science from Creighton University. In his spare time, Bob enjoys traveling, rugby and sports at Notre Dame. Brett Harshbarger is a partner in a district legal group and lives in Washington, D.C.
Randy graduated from Nichols School, Buffalo, New York, in 1969 and received his A.B., laude, from Harvard University in 1973. In 1976, Randy received his J.D. from the State University of New York at the Buffalo School of Law. Randy is rated “AV” by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating Service, which means his peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence. Randy practiced banking and real estate law in Buffalo for a year with Little and Burt, and from 1977 to 1986, Randy practiced at the law firm of Copeland, Hession, Grindle & Robinson in Wellesley, Massachusetts. As a partner and partner (1984) at Copeland, Hession, Randy worked in a general civil practice that included corporate and real estate law, commercial and construction litigation, and insurance defense. In May 1986, Randy was a partner at the Boston law firm of Bums & Levinson, where he specialized in asbestos in buildings and personal injury caused by asbestos. Randy became a member of the company in January 1990.
Randy joined Peabody & Arnold in Boston as a partner in April 1993 and served as the firm`s executive director, where he served as co-chair of the litigation department from 1994 to 1998 and co-chair of the commercial litigation group from 2000 to 2002. In addition, Randy was a member of the firm`s hiring committee and one of two associate members of the firm`s partners committee. At Peabody & Arnold, Randy`s practice covered all aspects of civil litigation with a focus on estates and trusts, as well as commercial disputes. Randy was a member of the firm`s Private Client Group and worked closely with him to manage a variety of estate, estate and fiduciary matters. In 2003, Randy and his wife Olivia moved from Boston to the west coast of Florida, where Randy practiced civil litigation with the law firm Of Butler, Weihmuller, Katz, Craig, LLP in Tampa. In November 2005, Randy joined John Lakin at Barnes Walker & Lakin, Chartered, in Bradenton, and in August 2007, they formed Lakin Smith, P.A. When Lakin Smith, PA, disbanded in late 2011, Randy worked for Najmy Thompson, PL in downtown Bradenton, where his practice focused on homeowner and condominium law, commercial and commercial disputes, as well as probate and fiduciary matters. In January 2019, Randy joined DC Capital Law, LLP as Lead Counsel. Randy is a member of the Florida Bar, the Bars of New York State, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It was also mentioned before the United States. Tax Court, first Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States District Courts for the districts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, for the northern, central, and southern districts of Florida, and for the southern and eastern districts of New York. Dionna Maria Lewis, Esq., is a third-generation Washington native, a product of DC`s public school system and the founder of District Legal Group, PLLC.
In addition to representing clients as a litigator and attorney, Dionna is an elected representative as a member of the At-Large Committee for the DC Democratic State Committee, is President of the Washington Bar Association, Vice President of the Marshall Heights Community Development Organization (MHCDO), serves on the District of Columbia (BADC) Board of Directors, is General Counsel of the Neighborhood 7 Democrats, General Counsel of the DC Democratic Black Caucus and is a Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
