What Is a Motherhood Statement

Maternity statements may seem vague and general, but why are they still the favorite place of many politicians? For the same reason, Tiktok and 30-second videos are hot products. They are easy to consume. It is sad because strategy and principles set direction, set expectations and allow people to make informed decisions. Generic maternity statements sound great, but they don`t answer the most pressing question: “How?” Probably because virtually everyone would say that motherhood is a positive thing. Maternity statements are defined as “vague platitudes of well-being, especially those made by a politician with which few would disagree.” It`s like a Miss Universe contestant answering questions and answers with “world peace.” Only psychopaths would resist the idea of living in harmony, so the term becomes a universally accepted response. It`s officially election season. With it come the politicians and their great promises of unity, peace, prosperity and wealth. If you`ve gagged this thought slightly, you may be tired of “motherhood statements.” A science fiction story that postulates a deeply troubling threat to the human condition, briefly examines the implications, and then hastily retreats to confirm conventional social and humanist piety such as apple pie and motherhood. But politics is much more complex than beauty pageants, because they are policies that address the immediate concerns that determine a nation`s future. Declarations of motherhood must give way to workable programs, because general promises do not feed a hungry stomach.

After six years of great promises that ultimately failed, we hope we have learned our lesson. We could use fewer personalities who make motherhood statements about unity and more competent people with actual plans and programs on how to achieve them. After all, it`s easy to criticize what`s wrong and point out what needs to be done. But to actually design a plan and execute it effectively? That is another story. If someone promises that they will eradicate crime in three to six months, our answer should have been, “How?” When they say that homelessness will disappear in six years, we should ask ourselves, “With what money?” And when they preach unity, we question their reluctance to engage in debates and discussions. A “well-being” platitude, usually by a politician, about a valid concept with which few would disagree, without concrete plans for realization. For example: “Our country must contribute to world peace.” • Our country must contribute to world peace.• We just have to love each other, and everything will be fine. Lectures are boring. Facts and figures? Yawn.

At a time when attention spans are waning, many don`t care if you`ve helped in a crisis or started housing programs. Is your resume so full that it looks like an infographic? Well, f*ck yourself because you`re too competent.
